This role is responsible for soldering battery pack components, following assembly SOPs, and helping ensure each unit meets quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate has prior electronics assembly or battery soldering experience, understands where solder and cables should be applied within a battery configuration, and can identify poor solder joints before they become larger quality issues. Formal training or schooling in electronics is a plus. Responsibilities Perform soldering work on battery packs and related electrical assemblies Follow SOPs and work instructions for assembly and soldering processes Understand battery configuration and correctly identify where solder and cables should be applied Inspect solder joints for quality, consistency, and safety Troubleshoot incorrect, weak, cold, or otherwise defective solder joints Use QC methods to monitor work and maintain strong soldering practices Support overall production flow while maintaining accuracy and efficiency Work closely with other assemblers and production team members to meet build goals Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation

Qualifications Required:

previous electronics soldering or battery soldering experience Ability to understand battery configuration and electrical assembly layout Ability to read and follow SOPs, visual work instructions, and assembly guides Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to detect solder defects and apply corrective action Understanding of good soldering practices and basic QC methods

Preferred:

schooling, certification, or formal training in electronics, electrical assembly, or related field

Preferred:

experience in battery pack assembly or similar manufacturing environments Ideal Candidate Has hands-on soldering experience and takes pride in clean, reliable work Understands that quality and safety are critical in battery assembly Can spot issues early and troubleshoot effectively Is coachable, dependable, and able to follow standardized processes Wants to grow in a technical production environment

Pay:

$24.00 - $29.00 per hour
