Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Electronics and Production Assembly Technician to assemble and test industrial electronic equipment in a production environment. Responsibilities include installing PCB and cable assemblies into enclosures, fine hand soldering of wires and components for small electromechanical devices, working with adhesives and epoxies, and general PCB hand assembly. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail and can work independently as well as collaboratively. Key Responsibilities Cable assembly and wire routing Install PCB assemblies and cables into enclosures PCB assembly and subassembly creation with fine hand soldering (through-hole, SMT) Component and wire-to-board placement and rework Inspection and quality verification (IPC standards, AOI, visual checks) Testing and troubleshooting to the cable or component/board level using multimeters and oscilloscopes Documentation — work instruction maintenance, traveler completion Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment ESD handling and cleanroom/controlled environment compliance Collaborate with engineers and production personnel to optimize assembly processes Read and interpret engineering models, technical drawings, and specifications Support general tasks typical of a dynamic small-company environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training preferred Minimum 3 years of experience as an assembly technician in a manufacturing or R D environment Hands-on experience assembling cables and installing PCB/cable assemblies into enclosures Proficiency in fine hand soldering under microscope and with standard hand soldering equipment Ability to use a digital multimeter and oscilloscope for testing and troubleshooting Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a growing company Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand for extended periods Equal Opportunity Employer Renaissance Scientific, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
