Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious Pedicab Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you will be a vital contributor to the green transportation movement by building high-quality, commercial-grade electric-assist pedicabs and cargo vehicles from the frame up. The ideal candidate possesses a strong mechanical aptitude, extensive bicycle-building experience, and a foundational understanding of E-bike systems. Key Responsibilities & Duties 1.
Assembly & Technical Production Mechanical & Electrical Assembly:
Assemble pedicabs
E-Bike System Integration:
Connect and troubleshoot electric assist motor systems, battery docks, controllers, and digital displays.
Tool Operation:
Safely and proficiently operate a wide variety power and hand tools 2.
Quality Assurance & Troubleshooting Inspection Protocol:
Conduct rigorous multi-point quality control inspections on finished pedicabs to ensure mechanical integrity, electrical functionality, structural safety, and alignment with company benchmarks.
Problem Solving:
Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical misalignments, manufacturing defects, or electrical fault codes during the assembly process. 3.
Shop Operations & Collaboration Workspace Upkeep:
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation. Perform routine preventive maintenance on shop tools and shop equipment.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere strictly to all OSHA guidelines, workshop safety protocols, and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
Job Requirements & Qualifications Required Experience & Skills:
Bicycle Mechanics:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a commercial bicycle mechanic, production line bike builder, or in a heavy-duty mechanical assembly role.
E-Bike Knowledge:
Demonstrated familiarity with electric assist motors, battery management, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
Tool Proficiency:
Demonstrated expertise using specialized bike tools, standard hand tools, and power tools safely.
Technical Literacy:
Ability to read, interpret, and follow mechanical schematics, wiring diagrams, and written production manuals. Attention to
Detail:
High standard of precision; a commitment to catching small defects before vehicles reach the final stage.
Physical Demands & Environment:
Stamina:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move actively on a concrete manufacturing floor for standard 8 hour shifts.
Strength:
Ability to routinely perform heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling of components weighing up to 50-75 lbs.
Mobility:
Comfort navigating active workshop environments, including frequently climbing stairs. What We Offer (Benefits & Perks)
