Electronic Assembly Technician

Allcable is a wholesale distributor of Electrical, electronic wire and cable, fiber optics, tubing, and voice & data interconnect products, and electronic assemblies. Allcable is looking for an electronic assembly technician. This position will be for assembly of electronic wire and cable products, may include reading customer drawings, some light soldering and operation of automatic crimping machines and various hand tools. Candidate will be trained by Allcable. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor. The ideal candidate will be able to understand production machine operations. Allcable will train the candidate to operate said equipment. Understand and process orders for customers in a timely and efficient manner The candidate will be able to take instruction from supervisor and apply it to the daily routine Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with Allcable company policies Soldering experience a plus Education and/or

Work Experience Requirements:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive behavior and providing exemplary customer service Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices High school diploma or GED required Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and to perform basic math skills 3 years experience is a must

Salary Range:

$17.00/hour to start

Hours:

6:30 AM --3:00 PM, M- F with 30 minutes for lunch. OT as required
