With over 35 years in business, we are the market leader in heat staking machines, equipment and custom tooling. We also offer a wide variety of ultrasonic welders, converters, boosters, horns, power supplies and used equipment. Sonitek's products are used in a wide range industries, including medical, electronics, automotive and packaging. We are looking for a skilled Mechatronic Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid team orientation, strong communication skills, excellent work ethic and attention to detail. A positive attitude and motivation to implement optimal work processes is a must.
JOB SUMMARY
The Mechatronics Technician is responsible for completing a variety of electrical and mechanical operations to support assembly, setup and testing of the Sonitek product line to company production and quality documentation and standards. Responsibilities and Skills Assembly and fabrication of company thermal equipment product line. Perform Integration, set-up and final testing on thermal equipment and automated systems. Troubleshoot and debug complex electro-mechanical systems. Perform assembly of wiring diagram requirements, including wiring of control panels and electro-mechanical processes for fabricating and assembly of control panels. Perform mechanical fabrication and assembly, including working with pneumatic systems, PLC programming and software debugging. Excellent schematic, blueprint, and metrology skills. Maintain a safe/productive work environment consistent with company safety standards. Ability to lift 40 pounds. Other duties and responsibilities as delegated by the Systems Integration Manager. Education and Training Minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalent, preferably in a related Vocational discipline. Secondary education in Mechatronics or Electro-mechanical technology is highly desired. Experience 3-5 years in a manufacturing production environment preferred.Job Type:
