To support the growth and development of new hires, this position is eligible for a 90 Day Evaluation that includes a pay increase if key performance indicators are met.SCOPE:
Under limited supervision, this position is responsible to assemble electronic components into chassis and printed circuit board assemblies. Must be able to handle a fast paced environment with a high volume of workload. Train in all aspects to work toward successful certification of operation.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(include but are not limited to) Work with pneumatic, electric and hand tools. Install electronic components into various chassis circuit board assemblies according to the documentation provided. Mix chemicals according to manufacturer's specifications. Apply epoxy and coatings using dispensing equipment. Visually check work in process for defects and makes adjustments as required. Comprehend and follow instructions, read and understand blueprints. Communicate regularly to supervisor/managers; suggests procedural changes Work effectively and responsibly with others. Attends meetings, attends special training, maintains a clean, safe work environment and communicates to supervisors safety hazards and issues. Cross train in other areas. All other assigned duties as required within the production organization.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience working with hand tools and assembly operations preferred. Good English skills, able to read, write and speak clearly. Ability to pass eye exam with a minimum 20/20 vision that may be corrected via eyeglasses or contact lenses as required. Eye exam is required annually. Good computer skills, including working knowledge of Windows, Word and Outlook Ability to understand printed circuit board assembly including reading assembly drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and written work instructions. Ability to work up to 10 hours a day, 5 days a week and is flexible to work weekends if necessary.- Availability to work extra hours at the company's request is mandatory.
