The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling electronic and mechanical components with precision and efficiency, ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications. This role is vital to maintaining high production standards and supporting the delivery of reliable, high-quality products. The ideal applicant will possess strong mechanical aptitude, electrical knowledge, and experience working with various assembly tools and techniques. Responsibilities Assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCB) using surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole methods. Interpret schematics, technical drawings, and assembly instructions to ensure accurate construction of products. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to perform precise assembly tasks. Conduct soldering operations in accordance with IPC 610 standards to ensure reliable electrical connections. Verify component placement and wiring accuracy using calipers, ohmmeters, and other measurement tools. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to promote efficient manufacturing processes. Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot assembly issues and implement process improvements. Maintain detailed documentation of assembly procedures and quality checks for traceability. Support testing procedures by preparing assemblies for functional testing and troubleshooting electrical wiring issues. Ensure compliance with industry standards such as IPC 610 for soldering and surface mount technology. Skills Strong understanding of PCB assembly processes, including surface mount technology (SMT) and mechanical assembly. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical schematics. Knowledge of IPC 610 standards related to electronic assembly quality. Proficiency in soldering techniques, electrical wiring, and reading schematics. Mechanical knowledge to handle machining, hand tools, power tools, and calipers accurately. Ability to use measurement instruments such as ohmmeters for electrical testing. Familiarity with manufacturing environments and quality control procedures. Excellent manual dexterity combined with attention to detail in assembly tasks. Basic electrical experience including troubleshooting circuits using schematics and test equipment.
