Job Description

Job Overview:
Premier Surge Protection is a growing small business specializing in surge protection products. We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Soldering Technician with experience in through-hole PCB assembly to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality, and can operate with minimal supervision in a team-oriented environment.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform through-hole soldering on printed circuit boards (PCB)
  • Assemble electronic components according to work instructions and schematics
  • Inspect and verify quality of solder joints and completed assemblies
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Follow company procedures and quality standards, including UL-related requirements
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
  • Assist with general production tasks as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • Qualifications:
  • Experience with through-hole soldering preferred
  • Basic understanding of electronics and PCB assembly
  • Familiarity with UL standards or willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Dependable and self-motivated
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
