Electrical Assembler Job Description The Electrical Assembler assembles, wires, and tests electrical control panels and related components in accordance with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering specifications. This role requires strong hands-on wiring skills, precise workmanship, and a commitment to meeting all safety, quality, and compliance standards. Responsibilities Assemble electrical control panels and related components according to provided schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and engineering specifications. Wire, solder, crimp, and terminate electrical components and harnesses to build complete, functional assemblies. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to ensure accurate layout and connections. Use electrical test equipment such as multimeters and continuity testers to inspect, test, and verify proper operation of panels. Identify and correct wiring issues or defects to ensure panels meet quality and performance requirements. Follow applicable electrical codes and standards (such as UL and NEC) to ensure safe and compliant assemblies. Maintain a clean and organized work area and handle tools, materials, and components safely and efficiently. Document work as required and communicate any issues or discrepancies to appropriate team members. Essential Skills Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints accurately. Proficiency in wiring, soldering, crimping, and terminating electrical components and harnesses. Experience using electrical test equipment, including multimeters and continuity testers, for inspection, testing, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of electrical codes and standards such as UL and NEC and the ability to apply them in daily work. Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate, compliant, and high-quality electrical assembly. Solid technical aptitude and hands-on electrical assembly skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to troubleshoot electrical panels and components is preferred. Comfort working with detailed engineering documentation and technical instructions. Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to diagnosing issues. Why Work Here? Work Environment This is a full-time, on-site role in a production or shop-floor environment focused on building and testing electrical control panels. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, for a 45-hour workweek. You regularly use hand tools, wiring tools, soldering equipment, and electrical test instruments such as multimeters and continuity testers. Work involves standing for extended periods, handling small components, and following safety procedures and electrical standards to maintain a safe, organized workspace. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kissimmee, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
