Wiring Harness Assembler Job Type:

$20 an hour Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Cable Harness Technician to join our production team. This role is responsible for building high-quality wiring harnesses and cable assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with crimping, soldering, wire preparation, and harness assembly while maintaining strong attention to quality and production efficiency. Responsibilities Build and assemble wiring harnesses and cable assemblies from harness drawings and schematics Cut, strip, label, and route wires to specified lengths Crimp ferrules, terminals, and connectors using proper tooling and techniques Solder connectors and electronic components as required Interpret wiring diagrams, harness drawings, BOMs, and work instructions Verify wire gauges, pinouts, continuity, and overall assembly accuracy Perform quality inspections to ensure assemblies meet company and customer standards Maintain organized workstations and follow safety and production procedures Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining high-quality workmanship Qualifications Experience building wiring harnesses or cable assemblies in a manufacturing or production environment OR technical school training focused on electrical assembly, wiring, or cable harness fabrication Experience with crimping ferrules and soldering connectors Strong understanding of wire gauges, wire preparation, and cable routing Ability to read and interpret harness drawings and wiring schematics Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail Ability to maintain speed and productivity without sacrificing quality Familiarity with hand tools, wire strippers, crimpers, multimeters, and soldering equipment preferred Preferred Qualifications
IPC/WHMA-A-620
experience or certification Experience in aerospace, electronics, manufacturing, or electro-mechanical assembly environments Prior experience working with quality standards and inspection processes #SNIT
