  • Full-time Position Overview Semipack is seeking a detail-oriented Solder Tinning Technician to join our production team.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and tinning leads, and components to meet strict quality and industry standards. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and experience in soldering or electronics assembly. Key Responsibilities Perform solder tinning on electronic components Prepare materials by stripping, cleaning, and applying flux as needed Operate solder pots, soldering irons, and related equipment Inspect work to ensure proper coverage, cleanliness, and quality Follow work instructions, drawings, and IPC standards Identify and report defects or non-conformances Maintain a clean and organized workstation Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience with soldering, tinning, or electronics assembly preferred Ability to read and follow detailed instructions Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail Basic understanding of quality standards and inspection Preferred Skills IPC-A-610 and/or
J-STD-001
certification Familiarity with solder alloys, flux, and temperature control Work Environment Production/manufacturing setting Work with small components and precision tools Standing for extended periods Semipack is a dynamic, growth-oriented electronics manufacturing company specializing in high-precision PCB assembly and quality-focused production.
