Job Description

The Electrical Assembler / Team Lead - Need Control Panel Experience with Leadership experience Seeking a skilled position responsible for the advanced assembly and fabrication of electrical components and equipment according to customer orders and specifications. Will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production of a specific line of products and ensuring the smooth running of all production/safety and quality processes. Will lead by example and will manage a team of production workers assigned for a specific line of products. He/She will ensure that all tasks are completed effectively and efficiently.
Pay Rate:
$25-30/hr Need Leadership experience within the control panel industry!
Schedule/Hours:
M-F | 7:00 AM - 3:30
PM EST Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assemble complex wiring and electrical components according to schematics and with minimum instructions. Monitor and inspect components for quality control. Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose any electrical problems related to assembly or system wiring. Provide leadership, direction and guidance to a product line dedicated production team Ensure that all production processes are completed in an accurate and timely manner Monitor and adjust production processes to maximize efficiency Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed by the production team Monitor employee performance and provide feedback and coaching Identify areas of improvement in the production process Ensure that all production records are accurate and up to date Work closely with other managers/team leaders to coordinate production efforts Maintain positive relationships with peers, customers, vendors and other stakeholders May be required to fullfill the role of production manager from time to time.
Experience:
Minimum of 8 years' experience in wiring and electrical assembly of Industrial, telecom , IT type systems. Minimum of 2 years in a leadership position. Qualifications Expert Knowledge of electrical schematics, shop drawings and wiring diagrams Deep understanding of electronics and mechanical principles Deep knowledge of safety practices and procedures Must pass background and drug screening. Willingness to learn, accept new challenges and commit to a long-term position. Very dependable (Need to be on time every day) Able to do physically demanding work (crouching, stooping, crawling, standing for long period of time) Able to work some evenings and weekends. Proven experience in developing and coaching production teams Excellent people management and problem solving skills Knowledge of production processes and safety guidelines Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
