Electromechanical Assembler Job Description The electromechanical assembler will be responsible for using a wide range of machines, hand tools, and electrical assembly components to produce quality parts and assemble items for integration with industrial automation and robotic system applications. Candidates will be involved in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical components on robots. Responsibilities Use machines, hand tools, and electrical assembly components to produce quality parts. Assemble items for integration with industrial automation and robotic systems. Test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical components on robots. Essential Skills Electrical wiring Electrical troubleshooting Control panel assembly Mechanical assembly Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints Experience with PLCs Additional Skills & Qualifications A year or more of experience with electrical troubleshooting, wiring, maintenance, control panels, and PLCs. Completion of a 2-year technical college program or equivalent work experience is a bonus. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a very clean and climate-controlled manufacturing environment alongside a team of four other Electrical Assembly Technicians. The team currently operates from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday, with overtime available on Fridays from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Council Bluffs, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
