Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Solder Technician to join our production team. This role is responsible for performing precision soldering on electronic components and printed circuit boards while maintaining quality standards and production timelines. The ideal candidate has experience with thru-hole and SMT soldering , strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow engineering documentation. Primary Responsibilities Perform electronic soldering to company and industry quality standards. Complete thru-hole component soldering and light SMT soldering according to IPC standards . Conduct visual inspection of solder joints to ensure quality and conformance. Perform solder rework and repair on PCB assemblies as needed (Lead and RoHS compliant). Interpret and work from engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), work instructions, and prints . Use small hand tools and electronics assembly tools including soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, calipers, gauges, and torque tools . Complete tasks accurately and efficiently to meet production deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of soldering experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly. Experience with printed circuit board (PCB) assembly, repair, or rework . Ability to identify resistor color codes and capacitor values . Proficiency using soldering irons, de-soldering equipment, solder removal tools, and other electronics assembly tools . Ability to rework, repair, and modify PCB assemblies to required specifications. Strong attention to detail and quality. IPC certification or training (IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001) is a plus. Preferred Skills Experience with SMT and thru-hole soldering . Familiarity with electronics manufacturing environments . Ability to follow technical documentation and quality standards Compensation and Benefits Starting at $19.00 per hour on Day Shift and $20.00 per hour on Night Shift with opportunities for increases based on performance and experience.
