Job Description
Electrical harness assembly role focused on routing, tying, cutting, stripping, crimping, and assembling wire harnesses for electrical and electronic systems. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of electrical wiring experience preferred Production role experience preferred Experience using a variety of hand tools Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, wiring schematics, work orders, SOPs, and bills of material Experience cutting, stripping, crimping, or assembling electrical wiring materials Preferred Skills Wire harness assembly experience Electrical harness assembly experience Braiding machine experience Experience identifying mechanical issues Experience identifying material issues Experience working with electrical or electronic equipment assemblies Job Responsibilities Route and tie insulated wires to form wire harnesses Build wire harnesses used in machines that control electrical and electronic equipment or systems Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, wiring schematics, work orders, SOPs, and bills of material Cut, strip, crimp, and assemble materials used to produce electrical harness assemblies Operate braiding machine Evaluate mechanical and material issues Place finished goods in designated areas Maintain a clean and safe work area
