Transducer Technician Sonablate Corp Indianapolis, IN Job Details Full-time $23 - $28 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Record keeping Mechanical assembly Maintaining an organized workspace Soldering Schematics Basic math Microsoft Office Electrical system testing High school diploma or GED Microscope proficiency Fine Arts Productivity software Equipment testing Manufacturing Clean workspace maintenance Communication skills Electrical soldering Entry level Full Job Description Summary The Transducer Technician I manufactures and assembles transducers and other related products, and supports the testing of mechanical and electrical systems (primarily transducers) Duties and Responsibilities Assembles high intensity focused ultrasound transducers and other assemblies Performs tests on transducers and other assemblies Assists staff with improvements related to the manufacturing and testing of transducers and assemblies Supports manufacturing and testing of product improvements, design changes, and new designs Provides period and emergency service on manufacturing and testing equipment Provides occasional support for other manufacturing/testing processes as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. All other duties as assigned Qualifications/Specifications High school diploma or GED , required Previous experience in the medical device industry, or other regulated industry, preferred Fine Arts background or experience, preferred Proven ability to solder small/delicate components Able to work with small wires (solder/strip/tin) Able to work under a microscope Able to appropriately perform lapping operations Adheres to traceability protocol and written instructions Competent verbal and written communication skills Ability to keep and maintain accurate records Ability to read, analyze and interpret design schematics, drawings, and standard business documents Basic math skills, required Experience with Microsoft Office suite/software About the Company Welcome to an established company, with a proven product, and a start-up feel.
