Job Description

Job Title:
Clean Room Assembler Job Description This position is responsible for the production of high-quality cardiovascular medical devices within a manufacturing cell. The role includes detailed assembly and operation of various equipment and machinery per documented procedures, which may involve electronic assembly, casting/coating functions, mechanical assembly, and packaging. Additionally, the role requires cleaning tools and equipment according to documented procedures. Responsibilities Assemble medical devices and related components, potentially using microscopes, hand tools, razor blades, syringes, soldering, adhesive bonding, and various equipment. Perform routine assignments according to specified and/or standardized procedures with work being closely and continually reviewed. Conduct visual inspection and precision measurements on components and assemblies. Perform tests on units using computerized test equipment. Repair and correct devices/components using microscopes and applicable tools. Package devices ensuring all parts are accurate and documentation is complete. Maintain accurate records to ensure travelers, shop floor paperwork, and quality documents are accurate, all parts are traceable, and quality issues can be addressed to assure product quality. Essential Skills Ability to use hand tools such as screwdrivers, syringes, soldering, or razor blades. Ability to use a microscope. Proficiency in handling small parts, smaller than a dime, with good dexterity. Capability to follow all compliance and quality specifications of the job. Competency in reading, comprehending, and following English written procedures at a 6th-grade level. Strong basic math skills at a 6th-grade level. Effective communication in English, with the ability to follow verbal instructions. Understanding of and ability to utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages. Ability to prioritize work and make critical decisions with minimal supervision. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior sewing experience. Experience with catheter assembly. Familiarity with medical device cleaning. Understanding of work instructions. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a cleanroom environment, specifically an ISO 8 cleanroom, requiring lab coats, hair nets, gloves, and shoe covers. The work hours are split into two shifts: 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of
WESTFIELD, IN.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
