Job Title:
Clean Room Assembler Job Description The role involves the production of high-quality cardiovascular medical devices within a collaborative team environment in a manufacturing cell. The position requires detailed assembly and operation of various equipment and machinery following documented procedures, including electronic assembly, casting, coating functions, mechanical assembly, and packaging. Additionally, the role involves cleaning tools and equipment according to documented procedures. Responsibilities Assemble medical devices and related components, possibly utilizing microscopes, hand tools, razor blades, syringes, soldering, adhesive bonding, and various equipment. Perform routine assignments according to specified and standardized procedures with close and continual review. Conduct visual inspections and precision measurements on components and assemblies. Test units using computerized test equipment. Repair and correct devices and components using microscopes and applicable tools. Package devices ensuring all parts are accurate and documentation is complete. Maintain accurate records to ensure travelers, shop floor paperwork, and quality documents are accurate, ensuring all parts are traceable and quality issues can be addressed. Read, comprehend, and follow English written procedures at a 6th-grade level. Possess good basic math skills at a 6th-grade level. Communicate effectively in English, following verbal instructions. Utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages. Handle and maneuver small components and parts with good dexterity. Prioritize work by determining the sequencing and timing of different jobs based on precedence and importance. Make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision. Essential Skills Ability to use hand tools such as screwdrivers, syringes, soldering, or razor blades. Proficiency in using a microscope. Capability to handle small parts, smaller than a dime, throughout the day. Adherence to compliance and quality specifications of the job. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior sewing experience. Experience with catheter assembly. Familiarity with medical cleaning procedures. Understanding of work instructions. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work within an ISO 8 cleanroom environment, requiring the wearing of a lab coat, hair net, gloves, and shoe covers.The facility offers two shifts:
1st shift from 6:00AM to 2:30PM and 2nd shift from 2:30PM to 11:00PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out ofWESTFIELD, IN.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
