Assembler Job Description This role offers the opportunity to join and help build a growing organization while working hands-on with heavy-duty electric trucks. As an Assembler, you apply your mechanical aptitude and prior automotive or electrical assembly line experience to tear down and assemble complex vehicles by following detailed work instructions and engineering drawings. You work safely, embrace new technologies and ideas, and contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities + Perform tear down and assembly of heavy-duty electric trucks by following detailed work instructions and engineering drawings. + Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assemble mechanical and electrical components accurately and efficiently. + Ensure the consistent implementation of quality procedures to meet product specifications and standards. + Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others. + Identify defects in product or workmanship, take corrective actions, and communicate issues promptly to the appropriate team members. + Inspect completed work to verify proper assembly and functionality of components and systems. + Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly work area throughout the shift. + Collaborate with team members in a positive, team-oriented manner to meet production goals and deadlines. + Demonstrate initiative and leadership by proactively addressing problems, suggesting improvements, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. + Train on first shift as required, regardless of eventual assigned shift, and apply training consistently in daily work. Essential Skills + Previous experience in automotive or electrical assembly line work, such as semi tractors, heavy equipment, farm equipment, or terminal trucks. + Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work confidently with mechanical and electrical assemblies. + Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and work instructions. + Ability to lift up to 75 pounds safely and repeatedly as part of daily tasks. + Strong written and verbal communication skills to follow instructions and collaborate with the team. + Commitment to adhering to all policies and procedures, including safety and quality standards. + Ability to embrace and learn new technologies and ideas in a dynamic environment. + Can-do attitude with a team-oriented mindset, demonstrating initia To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker accountSimilar remote jobs
