• PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace organization to hire a skilled
• Overhaul Technician
• . In this role, you'll play a critical part in assembling and maintaining high-performance electromechanical components that keep aircraft operating safely and efficiently. Your attention to detail and craftsmanship will directly support mission readiness and product reliability in a high-stakes industry.
• What You'll Do
• + Perform subassembly and final assembly of complex aerospace electromechanical components with precision and minimal supervision + Execute bench-level assembly processes using hand tools, measuring instruments, pneumatic tools, and soldering equipment + Complete electrical wiring tasks, including cutting, stripping, terminating, and installing bushings and bearings + Follow engineering drawings and work instructions to ensure accuracy and compliance + Document manufacturing steps and maintain accurate production records + Identify and report defective materials or questionable conditions to leadership + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company and regulatory standards + Meet production schedules and deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship + Support additional manufacturing or assembly tasks as needed •Required Qualifications•+ Soldering Skills - J-Standard certification + High school diploma, GED, or vocational degree + At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment (aviation or electrical assembly preferred) + Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions + Basic shop math skills + Proficiency with hand tools and power equipment + Ability to obtain and maintain FAA Part 145 Repair Station requirements + Strong teamwork and communication skills •Preferred Qualifications•+ Experience with aerospace or aviation electrical component assembly + Familiarity with electromechanical systems and precision assembly environments + Prior experience working in regulated or high-reliability industries •Why Join Us?
