division is currently seeking a Entry Level Electrical Tech to join our Fibrebond team in Minden, LA! You will work an average of 54 hours per week (including OT) between 6 am - 4:30 pm. The hourly range for this position is $16.50-$18.70 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. ## What you'll do: The entry level Electrical Technician begins in Electrical Prefab learning basic electrical parts and safety. You will be introduced to both hand and power tools. Basic math skills must be demonstrated as well as a high attention to detail. You must be able to work in a manufacturing environment on your feet all day while you shadow and assist within established electrical crews. You will be expected to gain knowledge in blueprint reading and train on beginning electrical skills such as installation of conduit and electrical components. In this role, you will:

• Use a tape measure effectively.
• Prepare and kit electrical parts.
• Stock and set up electrical wire carts.
• Install and cover receptacles and switches.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by crew leader or supervisor.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some electrical experience in a construction or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with hand and power tools.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to wear PPE such as protective eyewear, hearing protection, and steel toes boots with or without reasonable accommodations.
