Job Description

About the Role We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Panel Assembly Technician to join our panel fabrication team. This role is the foundation of our production line , you'll prepare and stage industrial control panel enclosures so our wiring technicians can work efficiently. If you're mechanically inclined, organized, and take pride in a clean, well-built structure, this role is a great entry point into industrial electrical manufacturing with a clear path to advancement. This is a shop-based role with no routine field work or travel requirements. Key Responsibilities Lay out and install din rail, panduit, and wireway per panel layout drawings Mount and position control components — breakers, relays, terminal blocks, power supplies — per engineering drawings Perform enclosure modifications including drilling, cutouts, and knockout installations Cut, form, and install din rail and wireway to specified dimensions Receive, verify, and kit materials, hardware, and electrical components for each build Print and apply device labels and panel identification tags Stage completed assemblies for handoff to wiring technicians Maintain a clean, organized, and production-ready work area Support throughput goals and production schedules Follow UL508A, company, and customer workmanship standards Assist with panel packing and preparation for shipment Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 1 year mechanical or electrical assembly experience Experience building industrial control panels or electrical assemblies Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and panel layout drawings Familiarity with industrial control components such as PLCs, relays, terminal blocks, VFDs, and power supplies Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Basic hand and power tool experience Ability to lift and move panels and materials as required Competencies Superb attention to detail Team player Safety-conscious Ability to manage multiple priorities Self-starter and natural problem solver Why RED Group?
