Shreveport, Louisiana Job Description:
Pay Rate:
Starting at $18 / hour or more, depending on experience plus overtime, Medical, Dental and Vision under a W-2 Contract to
Hire Current Available Shift:
Weekend Shift:
Weekend Day Shift:
5am
  • 5:30pm, Friday
  • Sunday (36 hours total, it will not be rounded up to 40 hours). $2.50 shift differential on top of hourly rate. OT on Thursdays All contractors must train on the weekday day shift (Monday
  • Friday, 7am
  • 5:30pm) for at least 3 weeks and then will be moved to the night shift during the week or stay on the weekday day shift if that is the shift they were hired for.
Job Summary:
The Assembly and Test Operator is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Responsibilities:
Assemble components of all products, selecting the correct tools and fixtures. Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products. Read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies. Create labor records for all transactions. Ensure good housekeeping within own work area. Take personal responsibility for safety and adhere to relating Risk Assessments. Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:
High school diploma, General Educational Development (GED), or related experience. Must be mechanically adept; able to use a variety of hand and power tools. Ability to read, interpret, and carry out written and oral instructions; write legibly. Experience working with assembly related operations or equivalent preferred. Note that if you get hired you must undergo a background check, a driving records check and a drug screening
