Hiring for an Assembler paying $22 to $25 per hour in Randolph, MA Job Description Join our team to assemble metal parts and sub-assemblies using drawings, measurements, and instructions. You will utilize hand tools, power tools, and tape measures to ensure accurate construction. Your role is vital in keeping production on schedule through effective staging and moving of materials. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, while performing quality checks to ensure parts meet standards before proceeding. Collaboration with welders, machine operators, and leads is essential to maintain production flow, and you will enter basic information into our system for tracking and quality purposes. Responsibilities Assemble metal parts and sub-assemblies using drawings, measurements, and instructions. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and tape measures to ensure accurate construction. Move and stage materials to maintain production schedule. Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet standards before proceeding. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Collaborate with welders, machine operators, and leads to maintain production flow. Enter basic information into the system for tracking and quality purposes. Essential Skills Mechanical aptitude Ability to read a tape measure accurately Ability to read blueprints Proficiency in using basic tools such as a hammer, drill, or wrench Additional Skills & Qualifications Background in construction is a nice-to-have but not required Experience in mechanical assembly, light industry, fabrication, sheet metal, or assembly Willing to work with individuals directly from school with a focus on trades like HVAC, pipe fitting, electrical, fabrication, or welding Good work ethic, reliability, and eagerness to learn Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
