Manufacturing Assembly Job Description Manufacturing Assembler - 3rd Shift Temporary Posting Job Description (Experienced): Gore is seeking a quality minded, detail-oriented, and reliable Manufacturing Operator. In this role, you will be working with the manufacturing team on third shift; 12:30am -11am Monday through Thursday. This role starts at $18/hr. The ideal candidate will: Be energized by working for a world-class manufacturer and collaborating on cross-functional teams Recognize the importance of building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships Responsibilities include: Set up and operating equipment in a safe manner Perform data collection and entry Utilize quality system and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) Manufacture product with timeliness and accuracy Make detailed and accurate observations Visually inspect, ensure, and manufacture parts to quality specifications Consistent and predictable attendance and punctuality Work with EH & S and engineering to assure a safe work environment Adapt and demonstrate flexibility by moving from one manufacturing area to another as needed Partner with leaders on area improvement projects Work in a controlled/cleanroom environment
Required Job Qualifications:
Demonstrated 3 years of work experience (full time 36 to 40 hours per week) Must possess basic computer and math skills, and have ability to learn more advanced computer applications Commitment to meet or exceed manufacturing schedules Excellent eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills Must have ability to work independently and function effectively as a member of a large team Superior accuracy in following written instructions Develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships, be self-directed, motivated, detailed and task oriented Must have effective communication skills, both verbal and written Demonstrated ability to positively influence teammates and set priorities Flexibility to adapt and change to meet manufacturing needs and work overtime as needed by the business Continuous Improvement mindset Ability to lift (up to 30 lbs.) and stand for extended periods of time Pass visual acuity assessment test including 20/20, Binocular, and Color with or without corrective vision
Desirable:
Manufacturing experience Understanding of manufacturing computer systems (PLM, MES, and ERP) Experience working in a regulated industry
