As we embark on this exciting new chapter, we are seeking a hardworking Wire Technician to join our growing team. Job Overview:
We are seeking an efficient and detail-oriented Wire Technician to join our team. This role involves interpreting electrical schematics, performing precise wiring, and ensuring quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Ability to wire electrical components, electrical panels, and devices. Use of small hand tools, ability to read a tape measure. Wiring electrical control panels efficiently in a high-volume production setting. Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and B.O.M./drawings, engineering prints/specifications, and/or verbal/written instructions. Responsible for laying out, populating, and wiring of electrical control enclosures. Assembly of mechanical, and/or electrical components as required. Use common hand tools, drills, taps, saws, knockout punches, and multi-meter. Verify work performed by checking continuity or simulated functional test to determine proper component circuitry that meets operational requirements. Safely Test functionality of components. Troubleshoot functionality of design. Build wire harnesses for industrial equipment and label wiring. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety protocols. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred). Minimum of 1 year of experience in electrical wiring, panel building, or switchboard assembly. Strong knowledge of wiring tools, techniques, and safety standards. Ability to read and work from schematics and electrical drawings. Experience with hand and power tools commonly used in electrical assembly. Good attention to detail. Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
