This role involves assembling electronic components and systems with precision, ensuring high-quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical assembly, with experience working with PCB boards, soldering, and schematics. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Assemble electronic components and systems according to schematics and technical drawings Solder surface mount technology (SMT) components and wire electrical connections using hand tools and power tools Interpret PCB layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate assembly Use calipers, ohmmeters, and other measurement tools to verify component placement and electrical continuity Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and ensure compliance with IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies Perform mechanical assembly tasks, including mounting components using machining tools and mechanical knowledge Conduct quality inspections of assembled products, ensuring adherence to manufacturing specifications Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols for electrical wiring and machining operations Qualifications Proven experience in electronic assembly or manufacturing environments, with familiarity in PCB assembly and soldering techniques Knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT), electrical wiring, schematics, and mechanical assembly processes Ability to read and interpret schematics, IPC 610 standards, and technical drawings accurately Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and other measurement devices Mechanical knowledge related to machining or component mounting is preferred Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination for precise assembly work Electrical experience including working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting This position is integral to our production process, requiring a combination of technical expertise and meticulous craftsmanship.
