Job Description

Job Title:
Electrical Fixture Wire Tech•2-
Week Contract Location:
Saline, Michigan (with potential future work in Orion Township)
Schedule:
Full-time, typically 7:00 AM•3:30
PMContract Duration:
2 weeks (possibility to extend for the right candidate)
Pay:
$20•25 per hour depending on expereince.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Fixture Wire Person to support a specialized industrial project at a new Toyota R D facility. The role involves wiring and assembling electrical fixtures for robotic battery testing machines, requiring precision and attention to small, detailed components. Candidates with military experience, prior work on high-regulation projects, or expertise in soldering delicate components (e.g., fiber-optic-size wires or airplane electronics) are ideal, though flexibility is welcomed.
Key Responsibilities:
Wire, assemble, and calibrate electrical and test fixtures. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings. Cut, strip, terminate, and route wires with precision. Perform soldering on small wires and components. Test and troubleshoot fixtures to ensure proper operation and quality. Follow all electrical safety standards and workplace procedures. Collaborate with team members to support project timelines.
Qualifications & Experience:
Hands-on experience with schematics, calibration procedures, and soldering techniques. Expertise with small components and detailed wire work. Proficiency with soldering irons, hand tools, and precision instruments. Experience with distributed control systems (DCS) or industrial calibration tools is a plus. Military background or experience in highly regulated environments is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail, dexterity, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
Additional Information:
Work will begin April 13 or 20th Future contract opportunities may be available at the Orion Township location. Special PPE or site-specific requirements will be communicated prior to the project start.
