Job Description:
Description The HVAC/CV Assembler at Armstrong International is responsible for assembling components and systems related to HVAC and control valves. This position involves reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure precise and high-quality assembly of mechanical and fluid control systems. You will play a critical role in supporting the production of energy-efficient and reliable HVAC and steam system solutions. A strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork is essential in this role. Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble HVAC and control valve components, subassemblies, and systems according to engineering specifications and technical drawings
  • Perform mechanical assembly operations including fitting, fastening, and pressure testing
  • Inspect parts and completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues, reporting discrepancies as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of assembly activities, including parts usage and test results
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve assembly processes
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
  • Willingness to learn or train in the position.
  • Must have the physical and mental stamina to stand, walk, lift, and adjust to the noise and lighting of the manufacturing environment.
  • Other duties as assigned and not limited to just the above. Key Requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and technical documents
  • Experience in mechanical or HVAC assembly preferred
  • Basic knowledge of tools, mechanical systems, and fluid control components
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment Education Level High School or equivalent Experience Level 1-2 years Benefits
