We are currently seeking an Assembler, with the below qualifications:
Schedule:
Monday- Friday, 3:00pm- 11:00pm Professional Attributes High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training is a plus. 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in assembly. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or 5S practices is an advantage. Skilled in the use of basic hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, diagrams, and work instructions. Understanding of basic mechanical or electrical assembly (depending on the product). Familiarity with ERP/MES systems or willingness to learn. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work. Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn. Desired Skills and Experience Assembly & Production Tasks Perform manual or semi-automated assembly of mechanical, electrical, or electronic components. Follow standardized work instructions, blueprints, or engineering drawings with high accuracy. Use hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and jigs as required in the assembly process. Identify and escalate nonconforming parts, defects, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor or quality team. Meet daily production goals while maintaining high levels of accuracy and quality Quality Assurance & Compliance Conduct visual inspections and functional checks of assembled products. Ensure that all products meet specifications before moving to the next phase of production. Complete and maintain required documentation, checklists, and production logs. Support in root cause identification and corrective actions for quality issues. Follow safety guidelines, work standards, and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO, OSHA). Communication & Team Collaboration Communicate clearly with team leads, technicians, and engineers regarding product status, issues, or improvement suggestions. Participate in daily team huddles or shift start-up meetings to review goals and updates. Provide constructive input to improve workflow, reduce waste, or resolve bottlenecks. Support cross-training initiatives and assist team members when needed. System & Documentation Proficiency Accurately input production data into the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Epicor). Use barcode scanners or tablets for tracking work-in-progress and inventory movements. Follow digital instructions or electronic work orders from the system interface. Maintain traceability records and documentation for regulatory or customer audits. Basic Analytics & Process Monitoring Monitor takt time and cycle times to identify inefficiencies or slowdowns. Identify trends in assembly errors or material defects and report them to the team lead. Support continuous improvement by suggesting changes to processes or layout. Use visual management tools (charts, boards) to track key metrics on the shop floor.What You'll Love About Us:
