Panel / Machine Builder $32-$37/hr | Union Role | 1st Shift (6:00 AM-2:30 PM) Build custom machines. Solve real problems. Get paid for your skill. We're hiring a skilled Panel / Machine Builder who enjoys hands‑on work, clean wiring, and bringing custom machines to life. This role is perfect for someone who wants variety, technical challenge, and pride in craftsmanship —not repetitive assembly line work. You'll join a union‑represented team within a fast‑growing, startup‑style division backed by a long‑established company. Every build is different, and your expertise truly matters. What You'll Do Build custom electrical panels and machine assemblies from prints Lay out panels, mount components, and complete precision wiring Work with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, breakers, and control devices Troubleshoot wiring, components, and control issues Test, verify, and prepare machines for release Collaborate with engineering on unique, one‑off builds What We're Looking For Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints 2+ years of panel building and/or machine build experience Strong troubleshooting skills with PLC‑based controls High attention to detail and pride in clean, professional builds Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Why You'll Want This Role $32-$37/hr , based on experience Union position First shift, Monday-Friday Custom builds that stay interesting and challenging Stable company with growth energy and advancement opportunities Work Environment Hands‑on shop role in a clean, safety‑focused environment where quality craftsmanship is the standard—not the exception. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Andover, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.92 - $38.40/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
