Certification Power tools Electrical soldering Full Job Description Job Overview We are urgently seeking an Mechanical Assembler. This role is essential for assembling, fabricating, and maintaining high-quality electronic components and assemblies. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure precise assembly of mechanical parts, utilizing various hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing processes in a dynamic environment dedicated to excellence and efficiency. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will: Perform assembly functions using hand tools ( electric screwdrivers, torque wrenches ) and precision measuring equipment Build cable assemblies , including soldering, crimping, and wiring Assemble frames and other sub-assemblies using hardware Follow work instructions and ensure assemblies meet quality standards Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components for PCB enclosures and related electronic assemblies following detailed schematics and blueprints. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly. Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and fabrication drawings to guide assembly processes. Operate fabrication equipment such as welding machines, machining tools, and fabrication machinery when necessary. Conduct quality inspections of assembled parts to verify adherence to specifications and tolerances. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with warehouse staff for proper inventory management of mechanical parts and materials. Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues during assembly or fabrication stages. Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on assembly processes. Physical Demands Primarily stationary; must be able to sit or stand most of the day Perform repetitive hand, wrist, and finger movements Close vision, distance vision, and focus adjustment required Occasionally crouch, stoop, bend, or reach across all planes Frequently lift/move up to 10 lbs; occasionally lift/move up to 35 lbs Work in environments with moderate-to-high noise; hearing protection provided Qualifications Prior assembly experience is helpful but not required Comfortable using hand tools and performing repetitive tasks Ability to follow instructions and maintain quality standards Team player and reliable in a fast-paced environment High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Payrate:
$21-24hr Depending on Experience #MS1
