Job Title:
General Assembler Overview We're seeking a detail-oriented General Assembler to join a fast-paced manufacturing team producing both custom and standard products in a sheet metal fabrication environment. In this hands-on role, you'll perform mechanical and electrical assembly using a variety of tools, while interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work instructions to ensure high-quality results. What You'll Do Assemble custom and standard products using hand, power, and pneumatic tools in a high-volume production setting Interpret blueprints, sheet metal prints, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams to complete assembly and wiring tasks Perform assembly, wiring, and testing according to job tickets, work instructions, and test procedures Utilize inspection tools to verify product quality and ensure specifications are met Support production flow by working across different departments and functions as needed Set up workstations and equipment to support production requirements Follow established standard work, best practices, and quality procedures Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot issues and maintain efficiency
What You Bring Required:
1+ year of mechanical assembly experience 1+ year of experience using hand and power tools 1+ year of blueprint reading experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams Basic understanding of electrical testing procedures At least 6 months of computer experience Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Solid communication skills (reading, writing, and verbal) in a production environment Preferred (Nice to Have): Experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly environment Familiarity with inspection tools and quality control processes Experience with equipment or machinery setup Mechanical aptitude and understanding of production workflows Ability to identify, document, and help implement best practices Why You'll Love Working Here Collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on quality and craftsmanship Opportunity to grow your technical skills in both mechanical and electrical assembly Culture centered on continuous improvement and process excellence Work alongside experienced professionals who value precision and performance Work Environment 2nd
Shift:
