7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday QPS Employment Group is hiring an Electrical Assembler for a company in Kansas City, MO. This is an associate to hire opportunity. Electrical Assembler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Assemble garbage disposer components according to work instructions, blueprints, and production standards
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Install parts such as housings, motors, mounting assemblies, wiring components, and fasteners
- Perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining consistent quality
- Inspect parts and finished products for defects or damage
- Report non-conforming materials, equipment issues, or safety concerns to supervisors
- Maintain accurate production and quality records as required
- Follow all plant safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Assist with packaging and labeling finished products
- Maintain clean and organized workstations
- Work as part of a team to meet production goals
- Cross-train in multiple assembly areas as needed
Electrical Assembler Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
- Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to follow written work instructions
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Frequent repetitive hand and arm motions
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to bend, reach, and twist safely
- Manufacturing plant environment with moderate noise levels
- Exposure to moving machinery and assembly equipment
