MUST HAVE SOLDERING EXPERIENCE
We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electronic and mechanical components with precision and efficiency, ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship. Duties Assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) using surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole techniques. Interpret schematics, technical drawings, and assembly instructions to accurately build assemblies. Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to perform precise mechanical and electrical assembly tasks. Solder components following IPC 610 standards to ensure reliable electrical connections. Conduct electrical wiring and testing using ohmmeters and other measurement tools to verify functionality. Read and interpret technical schematics, diagrams, and manufacturing documentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot assembly issues and implement process improvements. Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing or assembly environments, preferably involving PCB assembly. Knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT), soldering techniques, and IPC 610 standards. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical wiring, and mechanical assembly. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and measurement devices accurately. Strong electrical experience with testing equipment such as ohmmeters. Mechanical knowledge related to machining processes and component installation. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
