arden, north carolina Posted 3 days ago Closes 6/1/2026 Job details Summary Spherion $21.44 - $23.00 per hour Permanent 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM Industry manufacturing & production (Production Occupations) Reference number S_175337 We are looking for a technically minded individual to join the electrical Team. The Electrical Wiring Assembler will perform wiring and assembly duties on various products. They will also test electrical, electronic and mechanical functions on a variety of products. This role requires diligence, accuracy, and attention to detail. This role involves diagnosing issues, troubleshooting malfunctions, and maintaining detailed records of all testing procedures and results.
Day Shift Schedule:
6:00am-2:30pm
Responsibilities:
Wire and test equipment, ensure it meets customer specifications as well as safety and quality requirements. Constantly evolve in product and process knowledge. Record data and write reports; process paperwork timely, accurately, and with accountability. Follow procedures with accurately, efficiently and with strict attention to details. Troubleshoot various problems that could occur during course of test and assembly. Continuously improve work environment processes. Troubleshoot and repair warranty and non-warranty problems. Recognize and report quality issues through the correct channels as they arise. ... Must be able to work flexible hours; including overtime and weekends as needed.
Working hours:
6:00 AM - 2:00
PM Skills:
Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar degree for an accredited institution. Previous work experience assembling, wiring, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical devices. Strong knowledge of the following electrical concepts: Basic Electricity, Motors and Controls, PLC Programming and Fundamentals AC/DC.
Specialized Equipment:
Experience with specific types of equipment, such as transformers, circuit breakers, and protective relays.
Software Proficiency:
Familiarity with specialized software for data acquisition, analysis, and reporting.
Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively report findings to engineers and management.
Problem-Solving:
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to resolve complex technical issues independently.
Education:
Associate Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuits, and components. Ability to use various testing tools (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, power analyzers) to identify and fix problems. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and schematics to understand system layouts. Meticulous documentation of test results, maintenance activities, and equipment status.
