Manufacturing Position Overview High temperature vacuum furnace manufacturer in Allenstown NH seeks an Electrician to wire control cabinets and associated components. Experience in low voltage circuits including discrete and analog components including PLCs is desirable. Will train the right person. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented team player who strives for top quality workmanship and is happiest without supervisors. Must be a self-starter Essential Job Functions; Willing to train the right person: Interpret electrical schematic drawings. Inspects electrical components. Prepare control cabinets for installation of components. Installs components based upon engineering drawings and guidance, and best practices. Wire control cabinets to electrical schematics. Identifies electrical problems using a variety of testing devices. Interfaces with mechanical engineers. Interface with mechanical department. Performs equipment teardown and packaging for final shipment. Checks stock Knowledge/Education/Preferred but not necessary Associates Degree Industrial Electricity 2-3 years' experience Other Skills/Abilities High quality workmanship Self-starter Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Working Conditions While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock.
