Precision Optoelectromechanical Assembler Intelligent Manufacturing Solutions (IMS) Londonderry, NH Job Details $25 - $29 an hour 10 hours ago Qualifications Decision making Full Job Description Day in the Life Start your shift reviewing visual work instructions, then move to hands-on assembly of electro-mechanical and optoelectronic subassemblies. You will perform fine-pitch soldering under magnification on shielded cables and wires-to-host connections, integrate mechanical and electronic components, and verify each step against product specifications. Throughout the day you'll operate hand and power tools, follow cleanroom and ESD-safe practices, and document quality checks to ensure every build meets exacting standards. What You'll Do Assemble electronic and mechanical products in accordance with specifications and visual aids. Execute precision soldering under magnification on shielded cable assemblies and wire terminations. Use a range of hand tools, power tools, and dedicated assembly equipment safely and effectively. Apply established quality procedures and workmanship standards (IPC-610) to every build. Maintain a clean, orderly workspace consistent with cleanroom expectations. Own the quality and accuracy of your work from start to finish. Reporting & Collaboration Reports to: Supervisor / Manager Interfaces with inter-company personnel across functions to move work forward.

None; may informally guide or direct others when needed. Decision-Making & Impact Rely on experience and sound judgment to plan and complete varied, sometimes complex tasks. Tackle a wide range of assemblies and challenges with minimal guidance.
Impact of error:
Direct effect on product quality and downstream performance. What You Bring Proficiency with soldering equipment and wires-to-host assembly work. Experience working in cleanroom environments and following ESD protocols. Strong grasp of industry concepts, practices, and procedures; excellent command of IPC-610 workmanship requirements. Exceptional attention to detail and clear communication skills. Adaptability in a fast-paced setting; creativity and latitude to resolve build challenges. Background & Credentials High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience. Working knowledge of IPC standards. 3+ years in a related electronics/electro-mechanical assembly role. Optics experience preferred (e.g., assemblies involving lenses). Core Proficiencies Soldering Mechanical Assembly High School / GED Responsibilities and tasks may evolve; management may assign or reassign duties as business needs change.
