Soldering Assembler

Solder Assembler Location:

Ewing, NJ (Onsite - Monday through Friday, days!!) Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Solder Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role focuses on electrical wiring, soldering, and component assembly for ultrasonic systems and related electronic products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with precision soldering, wiring harnesses, and component installation according to diagrams and work instructions. Key Responsibilities Perform soldering and wiring of electrical components, subassemblies, and units following engineering drawings and assembly instructions. Utilize hand soldering techniques for both small and large gauge wires (including Litz wire). Assemble and connect cables, resistors, terminals, and connectors with accuracy and consistency. Follow detailed schematics and wiring diagrams to ensure proper layout and connections. Conduct visual inspections of completed assemblies to verify workmanship and compliance with standards. Maintain clean and organized work areas in compliance with company 5S and safety procedures. Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to troubleshoot and correct wiring or soldering issues. Document completed work and report any deviations or nonconformities to supervisors. Qualifications 1-3 years of soldering and electrical assembly experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Proficient in hand soldering and wiring of electrical components; IPC certification preferred but not required. Ability to read and interpret basic wiring diagrams and assembly instructions. Familiarity with crimping, splicing, and heat-shrink processes. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or within a small team.
