Electromechanical Assembler Aerotek - 3.7 Kearny, NJ Job Details Full-time $21 - $24 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Mechanical assembly experience within electronics industry Power tools Hand tools Mechanical knowledge Flexibility Full Job Description Job Summary The Switchgear Assembler is responsible for the electrical and mechanical assembly, wiring, and final integration of switchgear products. This role works cross-functionally with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure assemblies are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company and industry standards. Duties Assemble switchgear and electromechanical products from start to completion using electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Read, interpret, and execute work based on electrical diagrams, wiring schematics, and fabrication blueprints Perform wiring, routing, terminating, and installation of electrical components within panels and assemblies Complete assemblies in accordance with production schedules and deadlines while maintaining high quality standards Conduct basic inspections to verify accuracy of builds and identify defects or discrepancies Communicate effectively with Shop Leads and team members regarding production status, quality concerns, and scheduling priorities Follow all

quality system requirements and documentation standards Experience Strong ability to read and interpret complex electrical and mechanical assembly drawings and schematics Hands on mechanical aptitude with proven experience assembling components and systems Experience with electrical wiring, panel assembly, or similar electromechanical builds Ability to work independently in a fast paced production environment and manage priorities effectively Proficient with hand and power tools used in electrical and mechanical assembly
Pay:
