Job Description

Position:
Z-AXIS, Inc., a growing manufacturer of electronic assemblies requires a Quoting Specialist.
Responsibilities:
  • Create quotes for customers by working with various departments to determine material and labor cost.
  • Ensure timeliness of responses to customers to provide exceptional service.
  • Perform a variety of activities to facilitate excellent customer relationships.
  • Work together with the Sales, Quoting, Manufacturing and Purchasing teams
  • Learn the manufacturing processes and understand the work required to produce various product quotations.
  • Utilize the ERP system to help provide updated quotes.
  • Updating sales opportunity management system with information/communications as necessary.
Requirements :
US Citizenship (we do some government work)
Education:
Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
Work experience:
Customer Service/Quoting Experience preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer, and ERP systems. Prior experience with electronics related processes. Being familiar with PCB manufacturing a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Extremely organized and very detail oriented.

Background:
Z-AXIS Inc. provides quality design, prototyping and contract manufacturing services for complex electronic products and electromechanical assemblies. These devices include LED drivers, sensing and measurement devices, laser drivers, machine controls, aerospace, and electronic medical devices. We also design and manufacture commercial, industrial, medical custom power supplies under our Bear Power Supplies brand. We are centrally located between Rochester and Syracuse in upstate NY. We own our modern 32,000-square-foot design and manufacturing center and we are ISO9001:2015 certified. Z-AXIS has over 90 employees working in a single shift.
