Job Summary:

We are hiring an Assembly Operator to support manufacturing and production operations in Suffolk County. This role involves assembling mechanical and/or electronic components, subassemblies, and finished products based on work instructions, drawings, specifications, and production schedules.

Responsibilities:

Assemble mechanical and/or electronic components, parts, subassemblies, and finished products Follow written work instructions, assembly drawings, diagrams, bills of materials, and production paperwork Use hand tools, power tools, fixtures, jigs, and basic measuring devices during assembly Perform repetitive and non-repetitive bench or production assembly tasks Inspect parts and completed assemblies for quality, accuracy, defects, and proper fit Identify defective materials, questionable conditions, or process issues and report them to a supervisor Maintain accurate production records, including work orders, labor tracking, and inspection documentation Support rework, repair, modification, packaging, labeling, and staging as needed Handle materials and components properly to prevent damage during production Keep the work area clean, organized, and aligned with safety and company standards Work with production, quality, and supervisor teams to meet daily production goals Follow all company policies, manufacturing procedures, safety rules, and quality standardsSchedule /
