Electrical Panel Assembler C Band Reports To:
Area Manager Job Purpose The primary purpose of this position is to inspect, repair, install, and wire electrical apparatus of any voltage in the plant or assigned areas. Authority Statement The Job Title listed empowers the Incumbent with the authority to execute all duties and responsibility listed below. In the event of a conflict of authority, the Incumbent shall elevate to direct supervisor for resolution. Duties and Responsibilities Associates may be expected to provide the basic tools for the position in which they are hired. Associates understand and are willing to work in other assigned areas as work dictates. Able to follow Process Sheets (P-Sheets) and understand electrical schematics and BOM's. Capable of trouble shooting electrical panels with point-to-point flow logic and/or test meters. Has a full understanding of standard products and is able work with and assist assembly aspects of products. Has displayed and maintained high efficiencies and quality standards. Qualifications Has displayed and maintained high efficiencies and quality standards. Possession of High School Diploma or GED 1 or more years electrical experience preferred History of good attendance Task oriented

experience and education in reading and following electrical schematics. Good math skills with ability to convert decimals to fractions Demonstrated ability to follow procedures Accuracy in reading a tape measure Ability to read, understand parts list and fill out quality check sheets Experience using power tools including drill and saws Ability to use the necessary tools for this position: tape measure, screwdriver, wrenches, wire strippers and crimpers. Working Conditions• Mostly standing work. Continuously lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds. Frequently lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. Occasionally lifting and carrying up to 100 lbs. (Lifting more than 50 lbs overhead must be performed by using mechanical aids; if mechanical aids are not available, the lift will be performed by two employees in a team lift.) Detailed work with hands; fine work and simple grasping. Position may involve bending, squatting, climbing, reaching, and kneeling with occasional crawling and twisting. Periodic travel may be involved. As needed, will work at a desk and a computer screen for extended periods of time. Must be able to manually enter data to the computer system and understand the screen and images that appear.
