POSITION OVERVIEW
We have an immediate opening for a full-time industrial control panel assembler. The ideal candidate enjoys challenging work, understands electrical schematics and works well independently. Individual will assemble control panels using a packet of information including bill of materials, electrical schematics and panel layout drawings.
COMPANY OVERVIEW
We are a small and growing engineering and industrial control panel fabrication company in Cincinnati looking for an electrician/control panel assembler for our panel fabrication shop in Cincinnati. Our company specializes in control system integration, PLC and HMI programming, process/machine upgrades and improvements, and industrial (UL508A) control panel design and fabrication.
Job Duties:
Accurately and efficiently assemble control panels based on electrical drawings. Work in a precise and well organized manner. Quality is of the utmost importance in all work that we do! Perform checkout/verification of control panels to ensure proper wiring and configuration, prior to an engineer's checkout. Keep work station, including hand tools and equipment, in a neat and clean manner. Receive and organize job materials for assigned projects. Safely and properly operate hand tools in the course of assembling control panels. Basic understanding of computers to create wiring labels and to operate laser engraver for panel placards and panel tags.
Additional Skills:
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and panel layouts and single line diagrams. Ability to identify components, and understand industry standard wiring practices. Organized and detail oriented. Performs work to precise standards. Strong communication skills, both verbally and written. Able to communicate with engineering staff for project clarifications and panel testing.
Experience:
Prior experience assembling industrial control panels is required.
