Job Description

Panel Builder 1st shift (6am-4:30pm, Monday - Thursday)

In this role, you will apply your electrical and panel-building expertise to construct and assemble control panels, with the opportunity to help lead and shape the electrical panel-building division. Responsibilities Build and assemble electrical control panels from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and consistency with design specifications. Read, interpret, and utilize blueprints and electrical schematics to complete panel-building projects correctly and safely. Use hand tools and power tools to cut, mount, wire, and assemble components within electrical panels. Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout the panel-building process, verifying correct wiring, labeling, and component placement. Collaborate effectively with coworkers, typically working in small teams of 1-2 people to complete each panel type. Follow established quality assurance and quality control procedures to ensure all panels meet internal and customer standards. Support the development and organization of the panel-building area, contributing ideas to improve processes, safety, and efficiency. Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies while working with electrical components, tools, and equipment. Essential Skills 3-5 years of experience working as an electrician or in a closely related electrical role. Proficiency in reading and working from blueprints and electrical schematics. Hands-on experience with electrical panel building and control panel assembly. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Skilled in the safe use of hand tools and power tools commonly used in electrical and panel-building work. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small team. Solid troubleshooting mindset and ability to follow technical instructions accurately Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
