Job Overview Advanced Telemetrics International is looking for a hands-on Electromechanical Assembler to support the build of cable assemblies, electronic assemblies, sensor-related products, and related production work. This is a practical, detail-oriented position for someone who enjoys working with their hands, following clear instructions, and taking pride in high-quality workmanship. The role is a good fit for someone with prior experience in assembly, wiring, soldering, crimping, electronics, automotive work, aviation, manufacturing, repair work, or other mechanically inclined trades. Direct cable assembly experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person if they are reliable, careful, and eager to learn. Responsibilities
  • Build cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and related electromechanical assemblies using work instructions, drawings, diagrams, and bills of material.
  • Cut, strip, route, crimp, solder, label, sleeve, and terminate wires and cables according to production requirements.
  • Install heat shrink, braided shielding, sleeving, connectors, labels, and other cable assembly components.
  • Perform light mechanical assembly work using hand tools and small shop equipment.
  • Follow step-by-step work instructions and document completed production steps when required.
  • Inspect your own work for workmanship, fit, finish, and obvious defects before passing parts forward.
  • Support basic continuity checks, visual inspections, and simple production testing under supervision.
  • Maintain organized work areas, tools, materials, and in-process parts.
  • Assist with packaging, labeling, receiving, inventory staging, and general shop support as needed.
  • Work with engineering, quality, and production personnel to resolve build questions and improve repeatability. Helpful Experience
  • Cable assembly, wire harness assembly, soldering, crimping, or connector termination.
  • Electronics assembly, test technician work, avionics, automotive wiring, robotics, maintenance, or repair work.
  • Reading bills of material, production travelers, work instructions, or basic technical drawings.
  • Using tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, soldering irons, heat guns, multimeters, calipers, and basic shop tools.
  • Working in an ISO 9001, quality-controlled, defense, aerospace, electronics, or industrial manufacturing environment. Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to work onsite during standard business hours.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing detailed assembly work.
  • Ability to lift and move light to moderate materials as needed.
  • Basic computer comfort for viewing instructions, entering production notes, or supporting documentation.
  • Must be able to follow company quality, safety, and material-handling procedures. Why Join ATi
  • Small-company environment where your work is visible and matters.
  • Opportunity to learn valuable hands-on manufacturing skills.
  • Variety of work across cable assemblies, electronics, sensors, and custom production projects.
