Bench Technician - Electrical Assembler CSI Aerospace Inc. - 3.8 Broken Arrow, OK Job Details 5 hours ago Qualifications Mechanical assembly Electro-mechanical components Basic math Equipment malfunction troubleshooting High school diploma or GED Electrical diagnostics Electrical soldering Circuit boards Full Job Description CSI Aerospace, Inc., a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, a NYSE traded company, is seeking a Bench Technician. The Bench Technician performs component level troubleshooting and repair of complex aviation electronic and electromechanical components. This is a 1st Shift position 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Thursday. OT as needed on Fridays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
Read and understand drawings, prints and schematics. Proficiently troubleshoot electrical circuits to the component level failures which will include defective ICs (integrated circuits), resistors, transistors, capacitors, etc. Proficiently troubleshoot electrical circuits and mechanisms to the component level failures which will include motors, gear boxes, relays, limit switches, sensors, power supplies, speed controls and electric brakes, etc. Read and accurately interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring, diagrams, schematics diagrams and drawings. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Experience:
2 years of experience in the electronic/electromechanical field preferred or graduate of Aviation Technology program. Technical experience, including reading/interpreting technical data Proficient in soldering and board repair and assembly/disassembly of mechanical components required. Familiar with and able to use industry standard test equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, frequency generators, counters and have the ability to learn the proper applications of specialized test equipment Strong troubleshooting skills with AC/DC circuits
Specialized Knowledge or Abilities:
Language:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
Mathematical Skills:
Basic math skills
Reasoning Abilities:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand; walk; bend, squat, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.. The team member may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee works near high temperature torch brazing equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
