Job Title:
Swing Shift Production Associate - Electronics Assembly Job Description This swing shift Production Associate role focuses on building complete sensor products from pre-fabricated materials in a clean, calm, and spacious production environment. You will assemble small electronic and mechanical components by following detailed work instructions on an iPad, using hand and power tools, and performing tasks such as soldering, wiring, and packaging. The position requires strong production experience, a sense of urgency, and the ability to consistently support overtime based on business demand. Responsibilities Perform full product builds of sensors using pre-fabricated materials, following detailed written work instructions on an iPad. Carry out mechanical assembly of product shells, boxes, and related components using small hand tools and power tools. Complete electronic assembly tasks including soldering, wire bonding, wiring, and working with PCBs and electrical assemblies as needed. Assemble and handle small parts with care, maintaining accuracy and consistency throughout the production process. Read and interpret work instructions in English, and follow them precisely to meet production and quality standards. Support line-based production flow by working efficiently, maintaining a strong sense of urgency, and meeting production targets. Conduct basic quality inspection of assembled components and finished products to ensure they meet specifications and standards. Package finished products properly for shipment or further processing, ensuring correct labeling and protection. Operate basic production and SMT machinery as needed, once trained, to support overall production output. Collaborate effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly and supporting coworkers to maintain smooth production operations. Adhere strictly to all production safety standards, procedures, and guidelines while working with tools, equipment, and materials. Stand for the duration of the shift and perform repetitive production and assembly tasks while maintaining focus and attention to detail. Work scheduled overtime when required based on order volume and business demand, including extended swing shift hours. Essential Skills Previous production experience in a manufacturing or similar environment. Demonstrated strong sense of urgency and understanding of production flow and pace. Ability to read, write, and speak English to understand and follow work instructions. Ability to read and follow iPad-based work instructions accurately. Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with mechanical components and assemblies. Experience using small hand tools and basic power tools in a production or assembly setting. Ability to stand for the entire shift and perform repetitive tasks with consistent quality. Verified record of good attendance, reliability, and dependability. Willingness and availability to work overtime based on business and order volume needs. Ability to adhere to and follow production safety standards at all times. Additional Skills & Qualifications Small parts assembly experience, including work as a small parts assembler or mechanical assembler. Electronics or electrical assembly experience, including soldering and wiring. Ability to read and understand blueprints or schematics for assembly and inspection.
