!!! Job Description The Panel Builder assembles and wires industrial control panels by following electrical schematics and blueprints. This role involves point-to-point wiring, mechanical assembly, and installation of electronic and mechanical components using a variety of hand, power, air, and torque tools. It is a hands-on position ideal for individuals who enjoy building things and have an interest in electronics or electrical work. Responsibilities Build and assemble industrial control panels according to electrical schematics and blueprints. Run electrical wires from point to point within control panels, ensuring accurate routing and secure connections. Cut, strip, and crimp wires to specified lengths and standards. Build wire harnesses and organize wiring for neat, efficient panel layouts. Install electronic components, such as relays, contactors, and circuit breakers, into control panels. Install mechanical components and hardware required for complete panel assembly. Use hand tools, power tools, air tools, and torque tools safely and effectively during assembly. Perform basic quality checks on assembled panels to confirm proper wiring and component installation. Follow written instructions, drawings, and blueprint specifications to complete work accurately and on time. Work collaboratively within a production cell environment, coordinating with team members building different types of panels. Maintain a clean, organized work area and handle tools and materials with care. Essential Skills Ability to use hand tools and power tools comfortably and proficiently. Capability to perform mechanical assembly tasks with attention to detail. Basic familiarity with manufacturing or assembly environments. Ability to read and follow instructions, drawings, and basic blueprints. Comfort working with electrical wiring, including cutting, stripping, and crimping. Interest in building things, electronics, or electrical work. Reliability to work a consistent day shift schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with flexibility to start as late as 7:00 a.m. if needed. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Experience using air tools and torque tools is an asset. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics is a plus. Enjoyment of hands-on work and problem-solving in a technical setting. Willingness to learn the trade of control panel building from the ground up. Strong manual dexterity and ability to work with small components and detailed assemblies. Why Work Here?
