Electrical Assembly performs a variety of repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations on component parts, sub-assemblies or completed units used in Commercial and/or Military aerospace applications. Monitors the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products. Maintains accurate daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis. May earn certification to self-inspect products if adequate quality metrics are sustained.
What You Will Do:
Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements. Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies. Verifies specifications by measuring finished components. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Documents actions by completing production and quality forms. Will be required to uphold quality principles consistent with aerospace manufacturing standards. Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies. Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. Onsite - Wilsonville, OR ; 1st Shift - 6:00am to 3:30pm (9/80 Schedule) Flexibility to support production schedule requiring working overtime hours and alternate shift hours. May be required to lift/move heavy parts and/or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds. Must be able to comply with personal equipment standards as they apply to manufacturing. May be required to sit/stand for prolonged periods of time.
